For the first time ever, we're crowning recurve and compound team champions at the State JOAD Indoor event.
Each JOAD club will select three recurve and three compound archers to represent them in a bracketed team round immediately following the 1:00 shooting line. The team of three must be mixed gender and include at least two different age divisions. The team brackets will be seeded according to the qualifying scores shot by the team members that day. The two winning teams will claim the recurve or compound JOAD State Indoor Team Championship!
The team competition will be conducted according to the rules described by Book 3, Chapter 13, Section 13.2.2 of the World Archery rules.
Quick Summary
- The team competition is for youth divisions only (i.e. Bowman, Cub, Youth, or Junior). Adult teams may participate separately, but will be in exhibition only with no awards.
- Each end of the team competition will be six arrows with two minutes allowed. The teams will shoot simultaneously. The teams can rotate archers however they want as long as each archer shoots two arrows in each end.
